    might wanna put this file on another server..

    get XPM (virtual xp mode) for Windows 7 working on 2008R2
    the WindowsXPMode exe executes well and olso the installation runs well
    the only problem is the Windows6.1-KB958559-x64_Virtualpc_update.msu file that says the operation system is not supported..

    Anyone know if Homegroup is possible? Apparently it was in the beta’s but did not work.

    The thing missing to make homegroups work is the 2 homegroup services. If someone can figure out how to install those, you should be golden.

    The rest of the Aero features and looks from win 7. Like windows+space making all programs transparent, etc.

    Arris: That’s already a feature of Windows Server 2008 R2 after you installed the Desktop Experience feature and enable Aero. See this page for more information.
