Start the Server Manager by clicking the Server Manager icon in the systray, or the Server Manager via the Administrative Tools menu in the Start menu. Now scroll down to Security Information within Server Summary and click Configure IE ESC. In the window that pops up select Off for both Administrators and Users. Save the changes by clicking OK.
Disable Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration via the Server Manager

Continue to enable the Windows 7 [Aero] theme…

Hi, I have a problem with my Server 2008 Installation. Windows won’t let me open a file I sent over my LAN, a Windows Security window pops up and complains “Windows has blocked this file from being opened because of your security settings, blah blah.” How can I fix this? Thanks

Arris: I think you have to unblock the file first by right clicking it an choosing Properties. Now click the Unblock button on the first tab and try to open the file again.
